Work for Cableguys in Hamburg

We develop plugins such as Curve, VolumeShaper and TimeShaper, and are looking for a software developer located near (or willing to relocate to) Hamburg. The role can be full or part time.

You will have at least 2 years experience in working with professional software development teams. A solid understanding of a high-level language such as C++ is essential.

Producing robust, maintainable and elegant code is second nature to you. You love to geek out and get deep into exchanging ideas, all in search of the best implementation. You hold a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or a similar qualification.

You can speak German or English, and you’re easy-going.

We can offer a small dedicated team, with the opportunity to greatly influence the direction of Cableguys through your input. The plugins you’ll work on are used by tens of thousands of users worldwide, including artists such as David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Rik Simpson and Steve Aoki, to name just a few.

Most of what we work on gets published, and it’s the best idea that wins when we discuss future projects or features in our team meetings. We offer a lot of flexibility in working times and you can often work from home if you like.

We almost never rush for deadlines, and there’s nobody who pressures us to release at a certain time. In general, we work on one task at a time, in agile two-week sprints. We set you up with all the tools that you require. Our office is in a great neighbourhood in Hamburg-Ottensen, with many places to go for lunch.

Even if you’re not available to work for another year but feel the desire to get in touch now, we’ll be happy to hear from you, too.

If you’re interested in the role, please send your application (in German or English) to contact@cableguys.com

Also please include your expected salary.
