5.3.0 AU Plugin, OpenGL not showing in Logic

Hey all. I just upgraded my plugin to the 5.3 update, current tip of the master branch. In my plugin I have an animation that I draw in OpenGL, which works fine in every DAW that I’ve been able to test. I’m getting a consistent report from some of my beta testers that my AU build in Logic (v10.3.1 and v10.3.3), after this update, the OpenGL layer just never shows up.

This had been an intermittent issue for my AU builds in Logic for the same testers, but it seems after this update it’s recurring every time. However, I have been unable to reproduce the issue this whole time. The testers reporting this issue are running OS X 10.11.6 and OS X 10.12.6.

I’m asking here pretty much hoping someone else has seen this issue and has some insight? Or perhaps has some thoughts on how I can get to the bottom of this? Thanks.
