Ableton wav export ignores automation on some systems

Hope someone can help here. Some of our older plugins that work with the old parameter ID system have the issue that ableton does disable automation when rendering a track to a wav file. It seems that only a few users are affected and i could not reproduce the issue on my system. This does not happen when playing the track.
The cause for this is most likely that our plugin change parameters when the rendering starts and this disables the automation. But i’m not sure how this can happen.

Any help is welcome.

Ableton user here. A possible fix is to macro the parameter to automate, and automate the macro.
It’s not ideal, but it has worked for me and others in the past

You could try and recommend that to your users.
