If I build juce with QuickTime SDK on mac, do other computers need to have QuickTime installed to use my program quicktime sdk?
Or computers need to have QuickTime installed on their computers to use my program with quicktime.
I tried on windows. I build juce with QuickTime SDK. If computers do not have QUICKTIME installed , it can not use my program with Quicktime playback support.
I just want to know if it is the same on mac?

Quicktime comes installed on the mac, so unless you require a REALLY specific feature from a specific version you’ll be safe.
Justin is right, QuickTime is one of the standard framework, which is available in this location “/System/Library/Frameworks/QuickTime.framework”, even if Quicktime application is uninstalled, it’s not gonna effect your application since quicktime is used by many applications on Macintosh.
On the bright side I haven’t had any issues on snow leopard, pertaining to Quicktime.
