I've just worked through the first audio basics tutorial and I'd like to make sure that I've understood the dynamic behaviour of the AudioSource class correctly, because there are a few warnings in the documentation about the need for the code that inherits from it to be robust.
In the documentation, it states that there are two states: prepared and unprepared. However, while this may be true at the top level, there appear to be other states as well.
I've had trouble in attaching an image to this post today. Hopefully, you can see the state model at
The state model is of a kind that carries out actions on entry to states, not on transitions. The notes attached to the state model are significant.
I'm interested to know whether the state model adequately captures the behaviour of the AudioSource class.
