Beyond OpenGL

Is there a JUCE Roadmap somewhere in regards to OpenGL support?
WeAreRoli/JUCE doesn’t seem to have one.
I’m interested in calculating operations per sample to achieve responsive graphics.
This is a pretty wild example, but given OpenGL ES is being depreciated for iOS 12, what is ROLI planning for graphics support for Metal, for example.
