Bypassing Double Buffering

When examining the drawing code of JUCE components under Windows it would be helpful to be able to call SetGdiBatchLimits(1) and step through the drawing. To do this it appears it would be necessary to replace the LowLevelGraphicsSoftwareRenderer class with a new class that renders directly to an HDC. I looked at doing this but the task seemed daunting. Has such a class already been developed and can it be made available.

Sounds like a bizarre request, and it’d actually be impossible to do all the drawing using GDI, because GDI just can’t do most of the operations that are required.

What’s the actual problem that you expect to solve by doing this?
