We’re looking for a C++ developer with JUCE experience to join an exciting company developing the next generation of music production software. Some DSP knowledge is required and experience building audio plugins desired.
You will be joining a small, passionate team of audio enthusiasts and software developers intent on changing the way we make music using computers. Semi-remote working is an option.

Salary:
• Competitive and dependant upon experience
Location:
• Semi-remote work a possibility, must be able to travel to Leeds and London intermittently
Your role:
You will lead the development of a new collection of audio software plugins for a new platform that will connect developers, creators, music makers and sound designers. You will have extensive technical experience and be a highly skilled and experienced audio software developer. You will work with a small team of C++, web and IOS developers in creating new technologies that will enable a better music making and collaboration experience for music makers, technologists and audio professionals. You will be passionate about working in a startup environment, changing the world through technology and working in a small team looking to make a big difference.
Experience:
3+ years developing audio software in a professional environment.
Extensive portfolio showing previous audio software applications built.
Be able to demonstrate DSP and C++ knowledge during a pair programming interview.
Experience using the JUCE framework
Experience with object orientated programming
Extensive, demonstrable experience in Agile programming methodology.
Software architecture/design.
Experience leading a software engineering team.
At least 2 years working in a technology startup is desirable.
Skills:
Highly efficient software developer, architect and and team leader
Dynamic approach to learning and creative problem solving
Test driven development approach
Lean/agile approach to problem solving
Thorough knowledge of C++ programming language, JUCE framework, audio plugin
formats, signal processing, MATLAB
Additional knowledge of neural networks, MIR and machine learning is desirable.
IOS development knowledge is desirable.
Qualifications:
MA or higher in Computer Science, Digital Signal Processing or similar field, or equivalent
experience.
