Is there any easy way to get the visible area of a component? ie the area that isn’t clipped by any of it’s parents?
I could have sworn we had a method for that, but apparently not…
A naive way to get it would just be to clip its bounds to those of its parent (maybe recursively). To actually handle all the edge cases is a bit tricky (i.e. cutting out overlapping opaque siblings at all levels), but it depends how perfect the result needs to be.
