I'm trying to get a device ID with something like....

```
import android.provider.Settings.Secure;
private String android_id = Secure.getString(getContext().getContentResolver(), Secure.ANDROID_ID);
```

Is there a way to do this using the juce jni stuff? It would be especially great if I didn't need to write any actual java

Have you tried the Juce Demo app, specifically the System Info Demo?

```
SystemStats::getDeviceDescription()
```

Might be what you're looking for. I tried on two Android devices, and only on one (HTC Desire) did I get the ID after the device name. So this might not help you..
