# Drawables and Value Trees

Last night i was diving into the capability of using ValueTrees to rebuild drawables, but for some reason, when I did it, the ComponentBuilder object seemed to be angry about component ids not being there and so on.  
I dont have my code here with me at work so I cant post it at the moment, but was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on the subject.

Yes, you’d need to give all your drawables a unique ID before you convert them to a ValueTree for that to work. I’ve got some work in the pipeline that’ll make use of all that stuff, but not ready for the public yet…

Nevermind. it’s probably Component::setComponentID(); Is it going to work if I try it?
