EU-VAT progress

#1

A set of thresholds (EUR 10 000 and EUR 100 000) for cross-border supplies of electronic services will be introduced to help microbusinesses and SMEs. This means in practice that only businesses with cross border sales of more than EUR 100 000 will be subject to the standard rules.

Bit confused - does this mean in the UK I’m still obliged to charge UK customers VAT but not EU customers?

Thanks for the update! Great news indeed for small players like us.

Very welcome news indeed!

confused too, so under 100.000€, you only pay the local(seller’s country) VAT, regardless in which country the product is sold? Or not?

But anyway, is still complicated because countries out of the EU, may also demanding their local (buyer’s country) VAT.

I avoided all this things, by choosing a reseller.
