Guys, a feature request for Projucer when generating Windows files for Visual Studio 2017. Add request administrator rights on stand-alone applications.
Project settings -> Linker -> Manifest File -> UAC Execution Level: requireAdministrator (/level=‘requireAdministrator’)

Why do you need admin rights?
Smells a bit dodgy security wise to me for apps to require this…
you could also add /MANIFESTUAC:level=‘requireAdministrator’ to linker flags, no need to add a manifest-file
In some computers, like mine, the VSTs folder has admin rights. Several users complained about this, so that’s why requesting it. And please, don’t smell my code… :-p

Christian, it works, sorry guys if I overlooked this one, but I have my flaws. 
This is for an installer, in case you are wondering. If anyone would like to check it out I could make it open-source, but is mostly to install my Wusik products.
