Hi all,

I use a file to store presets for a plugin. The file is stored in /Users/Shared… to be available for all users. Nonetheless I have the problem that as soon as the file is accessed from the plugin (using XmlElement::writeToFile and a File object) the owner is set to wheel which restricts access to other users. This result is that only one user is able to use the presets.

Is this a problem with the preset file’s path (/Users/Shared), the writeToFile function or some general misconcept I use?

Chris
