GPL and MaxMSP

Hello,

This is perhaps more of a direct question to Jules but I thought I’d post it here.

I imagine that the Juce GPL license allows me to build external objects for MaxMSP (closed source) since this seems a similar activity to building VST or RTAS plugins for example?

I only ask since this has been a problem before when wanting to use GPL’d code (specifically SuperCollider) to build Max objects

Yes, I’ve no quibbles about using it for stuff that. As long as you’re obeying the spirit of the GPL and publishing all of your own code, that’s good enough for me.
