Has anyone tried porting Pd to JUCE, other than Cycling '74?

I’m about to graduate with an Audio tech degree, and wanted to use some time after graduation to just goof around and see what I actually enjoy, would a Pd port to JUCE be a good exercise?

Afaik pure data is written in C, but it seems like a huge exercice to rewrite it as juce “modules”

Is there a smaller subset of what I’m trying to accomplish that could be effective?

FYI: also PlugData now. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Congrats @nicolasdanet This looks really cool. :+1:

To remove any ambiguity PlugData is from Timothy Schoen!

Hey Nicolas, thanks for spreading the word about PlugData! To anyone who’s interested, PlugData is currently experimental and unfinished, it is usable but it will probably still crash sometimes. I’ll be working on it a lot this year, so expect it to be much more stable in a few months time.
