It will let me enter my account details only to show the same screen again

i have the latest version of IE ( 11.0.9600.19301 on windows 8.1 ) and the Visual Studio 2017 installed
Try a different browser?
Anyway I would personally replace this initial screen based on a browser component with some conventional components. Many times I had similar problems on some Linux installations where webkit was not properly configured etc.
Yes, something along those lines is on our todo list - though it’ll have to wait until the next big release of JUCE.
