Based on https://stackoverflow.com/questions/16596876/object-file-has-too-many-sections, the solution seems to be adding -Wa,-mbig-obj to the “Extra Compiler Flags” field of the corresponding exporter. I hope this helps.

Did you actually add -Wa,-mbig-obj to the “Extra Compiler Flags” of the “Code::Blocks (Windows)” exporter in Projucer?
