If it get accepted in the next OpenGL version, it might gives a real boost/kick in the a** to all those clunky CPU/GPU path rendering technics.

I also watched that - it’s extremely cool.

Although it’s an NVIDEA-specific extension, the fact that they’ve managed to do this with normal CUDA-based cards means that it must be possible to do the same thing on any GPU as a CUDA or OpenCL program. I really wish I had a few weeks free to attempt a cross-platform version of this, it’d make an awesome rendering engine!

10 years later and the wish is still not fulfilled. Give this man a break so he can achieve his dream and write a non-proprietary GPU path renderer! :upside_down_face:
