Jobs at Prism/Audio Squadron

Hi everyone, we have a few job openings at Prism Sound. They’re varied and some more electronic engineering based but I know the JUCE forum has a diverse user base so I’m posting here in case they’re of interest to anyone.

Cheers!

Prism Sound is a world leader in high-quality professional audio technology, based near Cambridge. Our audio converters and signal processors are prized in the world’s top recording, mastering, broadcast and film studios. Our SADiE digital audio workstations are the craft editors of choice for the world’s foremost broadcasters.

We’re looking for…

Experienced electronic design engineers

We are seeking electronics engineers qualified to degree level or above, with an impressive 5Y+ track record in analogue, digital, and power design, preferably in professional or consumer audio, ideally with a working knowledge of firmware and studio practice.

Lead software developers

We are looking for software developers to work on a range of digital audio projects, programming primarily in C++ and C#, for Windows, Mac OS X and bare-metal embedded platforms. Whilst a knowledge of hardware-intimate and real-time programming, device drivers, Linux/Yocto, Java/script and DSP would be an advantage, none of these is essential – but a huge enthusiasm for audio is!

Renaissance R&D people

Can you get audio projects done? We need versatile people who can chip in with audio hardware and firmware design, test/QA, schematic capture and layout, ideally some mechanical and production engineering - above all guys with a can-do attitude.

Would suit a recent electronics graduate with significant audio/music hobby experience, or a seasoned R&D contributor with 3Y+ of achievements in a professional or consumer audio company.

Would you like to join our development team in Cambridge, UK, designing digital audio equipment to the highest standards of quality and performance? If you think you’ve got what it takes we’d like to hear from you. In return, we offer:

  • Ground-breaking, award-winning, state-of-the-art technology
  • A chance to work alongside the best in the business
  • A small, close-knit team with a common purpose
  • Autonomy and creative freedom, a chance to shine
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • A good salary and a rich opportunity for personal growth

Please reply to personnel@prismsound.com, with a copy of your CV, and tell us why we need you.
