I could be nuts, but I could swear that the search bar results did not used to return most everything in lower case only:

It’s a change in behaviour from moving to the latest Doxygen release.
The search results are not what you might think. In this example the lower case results are acting like suggested search terms, which expand to case-sensitive results when clicked on.
Ok… good to know I wasn’t imagining things.
Too bad they didn’t change the behaviour to locate search terms in the middle or end of results.
