# JUCE\_COMPILER\_SUPPORTS\_STATIC\_ASSERT won't correctly set up the static assertion

**juce\_PlatformDefs.h** contains the custom static assert code, doesn't specify the second parameter to the C++&nbsp;static\_assert() (so you would only get a compile&nbsp;error) and is included before&nbsp; **juce\_CompilerSupport.h&nbsp;** in the **juce\_StandardHeader.h**.
