Am i correct in that the virtual MIDI device that’s created only has 1 channel?
Is it possible to initialise a multi channel virtual midi device for output?
That doesn’t make any sense; a MIDI channel is an attribute of the data being transmitted, not of the device.
What are you seeing that makes you think this is so?
Ah thanks for explaining that.
My problem was that I had it configured as an MPE device in Ableton which disabled the channel selector.
