Hi, I’ve noticed the jobs board has recently started becoming an advertising place for people promoting themselves for work - I always thought this was for people looking for developers here to work on their projects - or is it valid?
Just thinking that if everyone on this forum starts posting their CVs every couple of months looking for work then it’ll get somewhat overwhelmed.
The reason is painfully clear: many of the people coming here today offering their technical expertise are the same (type of people) that came here just a year ago searching for experts to build their dream plugin. The emboldenment is real 
Might work better to have a single “advertise yourself here” thread so anyone looking to hire only needs to look in one place.
Yes, the jobs section should be for people advertising jobs rather than services. I’ll tidy it up a bit now.

well, I can delete my post if it’s against the rules. I posted last time at least a year ago and everything was fine.
upd. Mar 29, 2024 was the last (and only post I made about the service’s advertisement). could hardly be considered as spam, imo. just make a separated section called JUCE services and stop being a watchdog.

I’m not against this decision in any way but it looks more like the Vogon approach: the plans were on display, you just had to find the right filing cabinet. Beware of the Leopard.
Every time I come back to this forum, it feels like walking into a cinema mid-movie: popcorn everywhere, but I can never quite figure out what the plot was. Must be a long-running feature.
