Label Renders GUI Controls Useless

When I add a label into my GUI, none of the sliders/comboBoxes etc do not work. Please advise.

The label’s bounds overlap the other controls? If that’s the case, make the label bounds only as large as necessary.

Thank you for your response. They do, I have the controls in the GUI bound to rectangles. I am currently assigning the labels to those rectangles which already contain a control. Would each label have to have its own small rectangle, say, underneath the rectangle of a particular control?

If you don’t need the label to be editable you can make it pass the mouse events to the components behind it (otherwise the label intercepts them):
label->setInterceptsMouseClicks (false, false);
