Linear slider 12px margin

Hi all,

I’ve used linear sliders many times before with “it’s good enough” attitude but at last I decided to dig deeper into this. There is a 12px x-margin in horizontal linear sliders and 12px y-margin in vertical linear sliders and I can’t find a function to get rid of them. This is a slight annoyance every time I write my own look and feel classes for the sliders. Is there a way to get the margins removed? Thanks so much.

I believe that comes from the thumb radius:
