Locking a slider to a particular value

Hi all,

I am implementing a “mix lock” in my plugin, to satisfy overwhelming customer requests. I’m trying to figure out how to set a value such that the GUI ignores any attempted changes by the mouse and/or text entry box. Any suggestions?
