Hi

Just read on the cycling74 forum that MAX/MSP 5 is written with Juce 🙂

Yes, it is true, we have spent the last couple of years rewriting the UI of our software from scratch in JUCE. It has been a most enjoyable experience.

That’s just great. MSP UI & price have always pushed me not to get into it. If the UI gets an overall, I might be tempted!

So if Max was built on JUCE, I was wondering…

Would it be possible to modify a version of JUCE that would
run as an external in Max? I imagine all you would have to
do is redirect JUCE drawing, audio, and MIDI to the MaxAPI.

Has anyone tried this? Is there any reason why this would
not work?
