I just noticed that the MidiKeyboardComponent is velocity sensitive - if you mouse-click at the tip of a key it’s loud, it you click at the root of the key then it’s quiet…Way cool - A really nice touch that I found by accident. It really helps to find out how softsynths etc. will respond to velocity. Perhaps I should read the rest of the api docs for this component - I imagine there are other goodies within…
