I purchased juce 7 perpetual indie for a while, but I didn’t get the juce 7 badge.

(Not that it’s a major problem, but would be nice to have 🕶).

At least you retained your JUCE 6 badge, mine disappeared when I upgraded… (although I have a weird account setup, so not exactly surprised by this _very_ minor “issue”) 😂

I’m an Indie since Juce 5… why am I not seeing the badge next to my avatar image?

Did you click on the user icon next to “Get JUCE”?
This is the user profile for your user account, not the forum account.
Chances are you used different email addresses or something went wrong when porting over from Roli.

But I am not support, this is just what you can check yourself. For anything else I leave it to the JUCE team

You also need to activate the licence in your account dashboard. The account with the licence activated, rather than the account that purchased the licence, gets the badge.

It would probably be easier if both cases above got the badge though. I’ll add that to the backlog.

I just checked and in my case it might be because I changed the account email address (JUCE account) before purchasing the Indie plan, but the forum account seems to still have the old one. And it says “Email can be updated from authentication provider.” Any way to fix that hiccup?

Have you tried signing out of the forum, then your [juce.com](http://juce.com) account, then signing back in? The forum uses SSO from [juce.com](http://juce.com), so that may line things back up.

Ah thanks, that’s one step further. After logging out and back in again, the email in the forum profile is correct. Still no badge though. Also tried deleting cookies and caches before logging back in.

It’s not clear why that didn’t also grant you a forum badge. We’ll look into it.

In the short term I manually added a badge to your forum profile.

It’s not important to me at all, but if it helps you, my badge is missing as well.

Also not seeing an indie badge, not an issue at all, but making a post anyway 🙂

Edit: thank you!

I’m using a different account for this forum to keep accounting/business stuff separate from casual communication, so no Juce 7 badge either.

Is that of any importance? Does it make a difference at all?

My assumption is badges may get more attention from the juce team when reporting bugs or suggestions, etc. it would make sense to make sure your paying customers are taken care of. Not sure though.

The forum badges are predominantly cosmetic - we triage bugs depending on their impact rather than whoever the reporter happens to be.
