Non-cursor mouse control

I have an OpenGL canvas in my application. It renders a scene which I’d like to be able to navigate around in using the mouse. However, I’ve only been able to find support for mouse events (in MouseEvent) which assume a cursor is being used. That is, the absolute position is important, when I really just want the relative movement.

So, my simple question is, what is the preferred way in JUCE to hide the cursor and take hold of the mouse device, reading its input but bypassing the normal GUI stuff?

Would the unbounded mouse input mode in the Component class do what you need?

Ah, how could I miss that! I think I will be able to do what I want with this and some hackery. Much appreciated, as always, Jules!
