ProTools blocks writing files on disk

Hi guys,

Some of our customers are experiencing issues while trying to activate our plugins while in PT. Our licenses is key-file based and the operation fails when the plugin try to write the license file in its folder. If the same customer try the activation on ANY other DAW, it works as expected. It sounds like recent PT versions are, in some ways, blocking the plugin from writing files. Anyone experienced the same?

Platform? On the Mac ProTools it could be that sandboxing limits writing without the user consent.

That’s happening on both Mac and Windows and only recently. Never had this kind of issue in years
