Receiving AAX gain reduction meter values from host?

Hi,

I’ve seen several topics about sending gain reduction values from my plugin to the host (like here). But is it also possible to receive gain reduction values from the host?
I’d like to display the overall gain reduction of the track my plugin is instantiated on.

I don’t believe that’s possible. It would be kind of counterintuitive, since the track’s overall gain reduction is dependent on your plugin’s gain reduction…
