What kind of functions does JUCE have that allow for recording audio and playing it back, or does it all have to be done from scratch?

Juce certainly has the needed building blocks to do that but can you be a bit more specific about what you want to do?

Possible starting points would be this tutorial: https://www.juce.com/doc/tutorial\_playing\_sound\_files and the JuceDemo (JUCE/examples/Demo). It has a minimal component that records and plays back audio, so you could check out the code there which shows how to put it together.

I’m trying to record audio samples and being able to place them individually on specific locations on a measure or some type of GUI that would be intuitive to use that way
