Seeking Developer: Steinway Piano Model & Room Acoustics Simulation

I’m looking to collaborate with a developer who can help create (or who may already have) an interactive web based tool that can accurately simulate different Steinway piano models in various acoustic environments for the website of my piano shop.

Piano Models to Simulate:

  • Steinway Model S (5’1")

  • Steinway Model M (5’7")

  • Steinway Model L (5’10")

  • Steinway Model O (5’10¾")

  • Steinway Model A (6’4½")

  • Steinway Model B (6’10½")

  • Steinway Model D (8’11¾")

  • Steinway Upright Pianos (various sizes)

Desired Room Simulations:

  • Large concert hall

  • Medium-sized recital room

  • Small practice room

  • Room with carpet

  • Room with hardwood floors

  • Space with high ceilings

  • Space with standard ceilings

  • Different room materials (wood paneling, drywall, etc.)

Ideally, the solution would allow users to adjust:

  • Room size parameters

  • Surface material properties

  • Microphone placement

  • Reverb characteristics

  • Early reflections

  • Room modes

If you have existing plug-ins that could be adapted for this purpose or experience in creating similar acoustic simulations, please reach out. We are open to discussing compensation and project scope.
