setCurrentAudioDeviceType creates multiple instances of standalone app within Windows mixer console

Currently, whenever I call AudioDeviceManager::setCurrentAudioDeviceType, it will successfully change the device type but creates an additional volume control instance of my standalone app within Windows’s Volume Mixer. This is happening on Windows 7 and Windows 10, but more frequently on Windows 10. Currently using JUCE 5.1.2

have you updated to JUCE 5.4.1?

It still happens today on Windows 10 with JUCE 5.4.5, can’t test on windows 7.
