Single Waveform Display of Summed Stereo

Hi All,

I am two-days-new to JUCE but I think it’s what I need to leverage to build my app.

I’m looking to display only one ‘summed’ waveform for stereo wave/mp3 files instead of two stereo channels.

Is there a programmatic way to draw a thumbnail using the combined signal, or should I get into combining the audio itself and then rendering a one-channel thumbnail image?

Aye…if you want to show the summed waveform (and possibly also gaining it to avoid clipping the summed waveform) you would have to programmatically combine it and render that.
