i’ve found this while switching between tabs and mdi (in jucer but i think it could happen in other mdi windows).
if you select mdi instead of tabs, and u have 2 child windows in the component area, and you maximise the main jucer window, then one of the 2 child windows gets maximised too, instead of remaining in the current position with the other one. also it maximise keeping the maximise and close button without the possibility of being dragged, and not switching back to tab behaviour like it do normally when maximising a child window… it’s a feature ?
