Just to let you know, we have some SVG from our graphic designer with an invisible background layer so that the shape position within the bounding box can be controlled precisely. However when creating a drawable from the SVG XML, the display attribute is not supported and the background is shown.
I'd suggest a better approach might be to just have a completely transparent rectangle in there somewhere, but if you want to suggest a change to the parser that handles this flag, I'd be interested to hear what you reckon.
Sure, it's easy enough to have a translucent background.
We'll do that in the meantime, we've notified our graphic designer. but just to let you know about the issue.
