The JUCE 8 Preview branch is available now!

Projucer from the JUCE8 repo, build using the Visual Studio project file

I generated a standard GUI project in the projucer, added openGL modules, removed MainComponent.cpp and and put the code I posted here in MainComponent.h.
All projucer settings are default ones.
I just redid this whole procedure to double check, same result.

Release.
I often test GUI thing in release as it does actually compile faster, but I just tried Debug and the problem does not show.
Simply enabling Debug Mode seems to make the problem go away, so some memory is probably cleared somewhere in debug mode, hiding the problem.

I just tried doing so on the i3 8100U machine, with an older version of Visual Studio 2022. I pulled a fresh version on JUCE 8, recompiling the projucer, and recompiled the code. The result is the same.

The two desktop machines are using the same standard 3840x2160 60Hz monitor at 200% DPI, one was also using a second 1600x1200 60Hz monitor at 100% DPI, in portrait mode.
The two laptops are using their own 60Hz monitors at 200% DPI, one at 3200x1600 and the other at 2560x1600.
All monitors are standard 60Hz refresh rates (hey by the way, shameless plug for this FR )

None that I am aware of

I appreciate the dedication to find the problem, and I hope the debug vs release finding will help you zero in on it.
