I see that someone wrote some code a while ago to do exactly this. Is there some reason this was never merged in? Can it be if it still works?

Sorry for the demo crashes. I know this issue. That’s because of GCC CPU optimizations (SSE2, SSE3 and so on) I’ve turned on the Release compilation. These optimizations are not compatible for all CPU types. Just recompile the demo applications yourself. Sorry
