Tooltips cover Pro Tools automation pop-up

Hello all.

We have recently discovered a problem with some tooltips covering the Pro Tools automation pop-up.

This has only been seen on MacOS (10.13.3 here), and only when the TooltipWindow isn’t attached to a parent component.

Below is a screenshot of the problem in the JUCE demo plug-in built from the latest develop tip. It seems that when the PT pop-up is triggered (control + option + command + click), the tooltip vanishes for a brief moment, then re-appears in front.

Note: to enable the PT pop-up, getControlParameterIndex must be implemented in the editor.

Can anything be done about this?

Reappearing TooltipWindow

Hi, my controls are presenting tooltips. When I enable AAX parameter automation selection the Protools automation window is opened after buttonUp() and promptly the tooltip window lays itself on top. In my buttonUp() I hideTip(). But it seems something triggers the tooltip timer again. How can I prevent the TooltipWindow from reappearing? (Until the mouse re-enters the control of course.)
