Hello,
since some time although I allow access to my microphone, the AudioPluginHost each time is launching asks again and again for that (please find enclosed screenshot).
I think it could be the OSX problem (I have Big Sur and running it on new Apple M1 silicon).
But because I get that issue mainly (or even only) with AudioPluginHost, I am asking here for help.
Is there any settings that I could change to avoid such issue?
For any help great thanks in advance.
Best Regards
Are you recompiling the host? It will ask every time an executable changes.

Same problem here! I’m not recompiling AudioPluginHost at all… Just looking for a quick host to debug plugins on Apple Silicon… every time i launch AudioPluginHost it first ask about the microphone and than is i may have access to my documents… Pretty annoying… Right now i use: VST3PluginTestHost-AppleSilicon. is a beta that does the M1 chip. found it here: VSTPluginTestHost for Apple Silicon - VST 3 SDK - Steinberg Forums

On Intel Big Sur it works fine. It only asks once… On Apple Silicon Monteray it asks all the time…
Update:
Only a Release build has this problem of every time asking for microphone access.
A Debug build only asks this the first time it is launched…
I hope someone could explain a bit what is going on here…
Cheers,
