Looking for an expert in C++ and audio programming and modular polyphonic synthesizers and software development.
You will be paid to assist with implementing a custom modular polyphonic synthesizer in C++.
You must be able to:

Review software architecture and design for custom modules for the modular polyphonic synthesizer and make recommendations to modify and or change the software architecture and design for optimal performance.

Understand Spectral Modeling Synthesis enough to implement it in C++ or in Python to be used with the main C++ code.

Understand other forms of communication other than MIDI-Like inter process communication, intra-process communication, etc…
The modular polyphonic synthesizer will be able to use a custom communication protocol that is superior to MIDI and not restrained by the limitations of MIDI. -
Know how to implement custom audio software as standalone audio software and not require a DAW to be fully functional.
This includes understanding audio graphs, and relelated concepts to allow the modular polyphonic synthesizer not to require a DAW and function as standalone audio software that also does not require an internet connection and can be used offline.
You will have access to open source github repositories to assist you.
Familiarity with Linux is a plus but not necessary
Familiarity with implementing custom real time operating systems is a plus.
