Editor resizing in Reaper

Hello!

I’m just looking at my VST/AUs for the first time in Reaper (Mac v3.672) and there’s an issue with the editor resizing that I can’t find any mention of on this forum. Reaper has its own resizer on its plugin window and if you use it Juce plugins don’t resize with it. So you can end up with the host’s window much smaller than the actual plugin editor, and the editor doesn’t get clipped to the host window.

I’m using the latest released version of Juce (not the tip) so that’s v1.51 and I get this problem in the Juce demo as well as in my own plugins. Incidentally, I don’t get the problem with PPMulator.

Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas what I could do to start debugging this?

12 years later and Im running into the same problem…
@valhalladsp plugins behave the same (mac) so I guess its just the way it is using juce?

I found that it’s even different with VST3 and VST2 compiled from the same code.
Hence I suppose it’s due to the plugin API specs.
