Gestures status

I just want to enquire about the current status of gesture recognition. Id like to be able to scroll around a viewport without the mouse click events being sent to whatever is contained. For example, scrolling around a TreeView component without selecting the items if a finger is dragged across a touch surface. How would I go about implementing such a thing? Thanks

Touch-scroll a ListBox

If I have a ListBox on a touch-screen device, is there a way to allow the user to use touch to scroll the list? In this case, my software is running on a Surface Pro, and many UI elements work great for touch - just make the buttons a little bigger, etc. But the ListBox isn’t touch-friendly. Is there a way to enable touch-based scrolling? Does the ListBox allow for touch scrolling on mobile OS’s? Scrolling a viewport without scrollbars

I'm building a custom properties dialog that scrolls inside a viewport.  Is there a sensible approach to making it scroll without scrollbars (vertically)?  Most apps have panels that will scroll by dragging alone - a web page on a phone for example.   Will I have to capture mousedown/mousedrag events in every individual component in the viewport, or will the viewport itself be capable of seeing the 'drag' event, even if it initiates over another component (eg a TextEditor <-- which I'll only b…

Hi, I am surprised if nobody asked about before, but I haven’t found anything regarding this. I have a panel with several components horizontally or vertically aligned. (buttons, sliders, custom components, whatever). Now I am using viewport to scroll the panel to click a button or drag a slider. ListBox, ViewPort and control activation while the ViewPort is moving due to drag

Hi all, I’m hugely frustrated by the following problem, which I’ve struggled to find a solution to for a few months now. Basically, I have a ListBox component, containing buttons and other controls. Viewport "magnetic" scroll...?

It’s a really common idiom for viewport-style views (aka “scrollviews”) to allow the scroll view to be scrolled past the bounds of the viewed component by a small amount and then for the viewed component to animate back to the top of the scroll view when the mouse is released. Viewport/ListBox scrolling inertia behaviour incorrect? (iOS/Mac)

Hi there, While dragging to scroll (enough to cause inertia), touching a second time stops the list correctly, BUT if the touch is released, the inertia continues. This continuation behaviour is different to how native iOS scrolling works. Just to clarify, if the user swipes to scroll through a list, they are then able to tap a second time to stop that list (this is done correctly in juce). Hi guys When enabling finger dragging on the Viewport class via setScrollOnDragEnabled, the dragging process can be interrupted when the user touches the screen with a second finger. Does JUCE support: gestures, Bluetooth?

Hi everyone - been a while since I've worked with JUCE. Wanted to see what the current state of the union is wrt two features I'm interested in using - gestures and Bluetooth.   Does anyone know if either of these work in JUCE right now, and if so, for which platforms?   I was trying to search for this but I can't figure out how to use the search feature to organize by date.   Thank you!
