I’m sure most people here, myself included, agree with you on the need for better GUI performance.
But displays such as mine are quite common. I, at least, want my GUI to look great everywhere, and it can be done.
In an ideal world, JUCE would provide both a noise image effect filter and dithering with a selectable quantization bit depth, both leveraging the GPU. Either could be used to eliminate banding.
