JUCE 8 Is Available Now

If you have a JUCE 7 perpetual licence then you can continue using JUCE 7 under the JUCE 7 EULA indefinitely, even if you upgrade to JUCE 8.

If you don’t have a JUCE 7 perpetual licence then you can still use JUCE 7 (and all other previous versions) under the terms of the JUCE 8 EULA.

I may have missed an update, but didn’t we need to buy a new JUCE 8 perpetual licence at full price (buying directly, without going the upgrade path) to be able to keep using the JUCE 7 EULA while working with the JUCE 7 framework and use the JUCE 8 EULA on other projects that used the JUCE 8 framework?

Didn’t this above mention contradict what you said on the “JUCE 8 EULA” thread here:

If you upgrade from JUCE 7 to JUCE 8, with the 30% discount, then your JUCE 8 licence will replace your JUCE 7 licence and you will be bound by the JUCE 8 terms. If you purchase an additional JUCE 8 licence, without the discount, then you can use your JUCE 8 licence for JUCE 8 projects and your JUCE 7 licence for JUCE 7 projects.

So, maybe I missed an update on this, but I would appreciate if this could be confirmed, since that would be great to be able to keep using the JUCE 7 EULA on JUCE 7 project even if we upgrade with the 30% discount to JUCE 8.
