Help! I’ve coded a plugin on the PC that works fine. So i compiled it on Mac OSX 10.4.10 with XCode and thought “great, it works”. But it sometimes it crashes in AULab.
I found out that the following procedure makes it crash:
- Open AU Lab
- Put the plugin as insert effect on the Default AU Lab Channel
- Put the plugin as second insert effect on the same Channel
- Quit AU Lab and save the file (name not important)
Bang! Wheel of death, crash. Press REPORT and read.
The same procedure also makes the JUCE Demo AU Plugin crash.
What is happening? My “system” is an IBook G4. I need to solve this issue quickly, so if anybody only has the slightest idea what is happening, please let me know.
