Juce embedded into a OCX/ACTIVEX

Hi,
I’m new on juce and I would like use it as an OCX to embed into VB ( )
I imagine can be the same problem as use juce as a dll. Possible?

Stefano

Certainly possible - it’d be very similar to building an audio plugin. Wouldn’t fancy actually doing it though - I absolutely loathe all that COM nonsense!

It can be done, but do so it would have have to be wrapped up and squished into all sorts of nasty COM objects, which is a fair amount of work, especially since VB does not support some of the functions that a full C++ library uses. Why on earth would you use VB anyway?

It is possible to bring in a C dll itself into VB and bind the things yourself, and that would by far be the better way to go if you don’t know anything other then VB.
